Angela Stathi

CEO
Angela was appointed CEO in 2019 to take the organisation through its next stage of development. Angela has a strong background in entrepreneurship and extensive experience in leading global cross-functional teams, projects and operations.  Angela holds a BA (Hons) in International Business in Finance and French and an Executive MBA at London Business School. Angela is a creative thinker with a passion for education, entrepreneurship and innovation. She held positions in the finance sector including strategy development and marketing, relationship management and business development and new product development. She is a big supporter of diversity and inclusion, multiculturalism and women advancement and she has extensive voluntary experience.

I am committed to educating and advancing young entrepreneurs to help realise their dreams and build sustainable businesses with positive impact. I feel honoured and excited to join Reload Greece and I look forward to helping to develop the organisation’s reach, growth and impact.”

Kate Topping

Marketing & Communications Lead
Kate has a BA (Hons) degree in International Tourism Management, eight years experience working in senior sales, marketing and project management roles at Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Media and ten years experience working in marketing, communications and fundraising in the charity sector.

Kate is driven by her desire to make a difference. Having worked in senior roles in the corporate sector, she then gained extensive experience working in the charity sector, including as Business & Marketing Manager at a specialist charity video production company, where she worked collaboratively with over 30 charities. She joined Reload Greece as Marketing and Communications Lead in 2017.

Veroniki Zerva

Community Engagement & Expansion Lead
Veroniki is a Strategy and Public Engagement professional delivering initiatives that bring together the private and public sector and has been involved with the startup ecosystem in the EMEA region since 2012. She is the Community Engagement and Expansion Lead of Reload Greece Foundation, managing the international pre-accelerator, Young Entrepreneurs Programme running across 5 countries, developing strategic partnerships, scouting startups across Europe and the Balkan region and shaping the agenda of the annual RG conference. Prior to Reload Greece, she was managing communication and CSR campaigns for the European Commission and the European Parliament and organisations such as Google and Abbott Laboratories. Veroniki has studied Political Science and History in Athens and holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Global Business from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. If you are a startup using cloud computing, blockchain technology, and sustainable development to grow in the MedTech, CleanTech, GreenTech or Agritech sectors you’ll definitely get her attention. She enjoys political discussions, art, and jewellery design.

 I am very enthusiastic about entrepreneurship and as a Reload Greece Community Manager, I wish to share this energy, inspire more young people to get involved, come up with fresh ideas and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. I believe that doing a new business might be exciting, but doing a healthy and sustainable business will make you feel even more proud. Ioanna Papadimitropoulou

Project Manager & Marketing Coordinator
Ioanna holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Thessaly, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has worked as an educator for young people for the past 5 years. Due to her passion for social media and how brands and businesses grow, she shifted her career to marketing and, before joining Reload Greece, she worked with a startup consulting agency and an art gallery helping them grow their digital presence. 

Ioanna is driven by her passion for helping others and loves being involved in organisations and initiatives that really make a difference to people’s lives. 

 

Kristian Papadakis

Mentoring Lead

 

Kristian was part of the Reload Greece community for over four years before moving into the role of Mentoring Lead in January 2020. He first got involved as a participant in the 2016 RG Bootcamp in Athens, following which he became a volunteer and then a mentor for the charity. With a professional background advising a range of organisations for more than five years – from SMBs to the European Commission – he has a wealth of insight to offer the community.

Kristian has significant knowledge and experience in the start-up sector, with a particular interest in technology, and a passion for mentoring others through their journeys. A large part of his motivation is due to the fact that Kristian is an entrepreneur and has gone through the RG experience himself, having founded his own company following his participation in the RG Bootcamp.

Mike Sotirakos

Program Director

 

Mike is a serial entrepreneur, impact investor and engineer by training. After 11 years in academia he branched out into business and has launched a number of companies within a wide range of industries. He is the CEO of Launch1000 Limited and one of its founder members. 

Mike has extensive experience in converting ideas to ventures, serves at the Board of a number of technology and consultancy companies and is an investor in a number of startups. He advises at board level large blue-chip multinational corporates on entrepreneurship. In his early career, Mike served in the corporate world as an engineer and business development manager.  He passionately believes that the global economy is ready for a paradigm shift. He is working with a number of startups and investors to build a global network of ventures based on the principles of Radical Generosity and #benefitability that will create wealth and at the same time will have a profound and positive impact. He is interested in helping and investing in ventures that bring hope and maximise opportunity on a big scale. He has been voted in the Maserati100 list by the Centre of Entrepreneurs: a definitive list of Britain’s most successful business leaders actively supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs alongside Sir Richard Branson and many others.He is married and a proud dad of two amazing daughters. In his free time he loves the adrenaline rush injected by windsurfing.

 

Christina Fotinelli

Conference Producer 
With over 10 years experience in events, production and communications for global brands such as CNN International, Hearst Magazines, Showtime and MEC (WPP), Christina Fotinelli works as a freelancer through her company, Rivet Event Management. She specialises in the planning and management of international B2B and B2C events and thrives in working with dynamic teams to bring big ideas to life. Her process is simple. Understand the client’s brief. Plan meticulously. Communicate clearly with all stakeholders. And like rivets, the mechanical fasteners she was inspired by, ensure all moving parts are tied together for a flawlessly executed event.
