After starting his career in the oil & gas industry as an economist for Pertrobras International, focusing on long term analytics and business development, Angelos joined BP as part of the commercial management team of Downstream facility in Belgium. He soon moved to London and into BP Shipping where he focused on commercial performance and process optimization through the introduction of novel analytics and technologies. While in position, he was seconded to ADNOC Logistics & Services in Abu Dhabi, where he assisted the Executive Team with Transformation of their business into an internationally competitive and agile organisation. He has since moved back into BP as an originator, focusing on building its Consumer Energy footprint as part of the Intergated Gas and Power organisation.

Angelos academic background is in political economy of the oil market, having studied in the London School of Economics and the City University of London where he was awarded a PhD for his research and multiple publications. Angelos is one of the founders and current President of the Greek Energy Forum.
