Konstantinos Eleftherianos holds a PhD degree in Informatics and Telecommunications, an MSc in Telecommunications and a BSc in Physics, all from the University of Athens. During his PhD, he participated in various European & National research programs in the field of Optical Communications. During the last 20 years, he has held significant positions of responsibility in Telecommunications & Information Technology companies in Greece and abroad: Vodafone, OTE International, OTE, T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom Group) and WINGS ICT Solutions. These positions cover a broad field of subjects: Technology, Regulatory, Business Development and Sales. In recent years he has been particularly concerned with Information Security, Smart Cities and Internet of Things solutions. He was also responsible for the implementation of important Smart City pilot projects in Greece and abroad (Chalkida, Patras, Xanthi, Bonn). He is currently holding the position of Commercial Director in WINGS ICT Solutions. He was also a teaching experience as a visiting professor in the postgraduate course “Economics & Telecommunications Network Management” at Univ. of Athens and in the postgraduate course “Technological Economics of Telecommunications Systems” at Univ. of Piraeus.
