We’re thrilled to introduce the 14 RG YEP entrepreneurial teams who have been accelerated to the ACCELERATE & PITCH phases of our Young Entrepreneurs Programme. During the first IGNITE stage of the programme, over 500 aspiring young entrepreneurs participated in the workshops and we heard 110 innovative business ideas. This year we saw more ideas from the Tourism, FinTech, MedTech, Engineering and EdTech sectors and most idea holders joined with backgrounds in Business & Management, Finance, Engineering and Science. We were pleased to see an increase in the diversity of the business ideas presented this year. We heard ideas from a broad range of sectors, we saw an increase in the number of female Founders and we saw more aspiring entrepreneurs tackling sustainability and tough social and environmental problems.
After 13 IGNITE workshops in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Greece, it was a challenge to choose the final teams but we’re now excited to announce the final cohort of inspiring startup business ideas from the MedTech, FinTech, AgriTech, GreenTech, Tourism, Social Impact, BioTech and Materials Science Engineering sectors.
