Reload Greece launches its 2017 nine day accelerator programme (RG Challenge17) in partnership with Launch1000 in order to advance 10 start-ups to the point they are ready to raise £50-£250k. The programme takes place between the 28th of June to the 7th of July at the London Business School positioning you at the heart of London’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Get an insight on how the UK investor ecosystem works and how to best position your pitch in order to attract investors’ attention, plus benefit from trusted Reload Greece Angel Network Collaborators and Investors.
First Round Investment Ready
We know the first round can be the most difficult one. We are no strangers to hard work, together we will refine your business model, financials and we won’t stop until you are ready.
What is stopping you from succeeding? How do you overcome your fears? Our life coach experts will work with you, on you (the most important part) and help you build your confidence.
Pitch Perfect at the Shard
Show the world what you’ve got. Our coaches will guide you through the content and delivery of your pitch. You will be pitching at the Shard, one of London’s most iconic buildings.
While the programme does not guarantee a successful raise, it does give you the chance to shine in the spotlight when presenting at our Dragons’ Den style event while getting some more personal 1:1 time with a selection of investors who have shown interest in your business.
What we are looking for:
A start-up team with an MVP and preferably some initial traction, ready to make your next big step and want to raise £50-£250k of initial investment.
High growth, potentially high tech and particularly interested in businesses in tourism, agriculture, shipping, finance, medicine or education. An AI, Big Data, Virtual Reality edge would be a plus.
Connection to Greece
A business that is solving a problem in Greece a business that is connected to Greece in some way offering a socioeconomic impact to the country.
Capacity & Fees
We will accept a maximum of ten teams, with a maximum of 3 participants per team. A £200* fee applies per team member and includes daily lunch and snacks . *One eligible team will be granted a scholarship.

Who can attend the Dragons’ Den Event
The Dragons’ Den event on Thursday evening is essentially the demo day where all teams will be presenting in front of a panel of investors. Set in one of London’s most iconic buildings, it also aims to celebrate all the hard work the teams have put in during the programme. It is open for the public but only a limited number of tickets will be issued. Tickets will be available before the event and will be announced shortly.
Who are Launch 1000
So far the Launch 1000 programme has been delivered to 65 young entrepreneurs. Their goal is to identify and develop a generation of wealth creators who are not “status quo” people. Their mission is to launch 1000 wealth creators in 10 years and to this end they aim to work with 100 young people annually to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into a commercial reality. It is the third year in which Reload Greece and Launch 1000 Partner in order to run the RG Challenge.
Who is eligible for the scholarship
The scholarship will be given to the team of maximum 3 people who will explain why they are eligible and why they think it should be awarded to them in the application form.
What does access to investors mean?
The programme aims to prepare you to the point you are ready to confidently present in front of investors. There is no guarantee that you will be raising investment as a result of your participation at the programme. It is up to you to enter into discussions with anyone interested in your business.
